The short version: We pack carefully, charge you exactly what the post costs, and if something isn’t right, we’ll sort it out.
Postage, Honestly Priced
At checkout, we calculate the exact box size your order needs and price postage directly to your postcode. No flat-rate padding.
- Fast Dispatch: In-stock pieces are dispatched within 1 business day.
- Transparent Carriers: Orders that fit a satchel travel with Australia Post. Larger orders travel in a box with Australia Post or a fully tracked Aramex road service, whichever prices lower for your parcel at checkout.
- No Surprises: You will always see the carrier, the estimated delivery time, and the exact postage cost at checkout before you pay.
Options for Cairns Locals
If you are local to Cairns, you have two ways to skip standard postage:
- Free Collection: Choose Collect in Cairns at checkout. We will email you as soon as your order is packed to arrange a time and place to hand it over.
- Free Local Drop (Orders $300+): If your delivery postcode is 4868, 4869, 4870, 4877, 4878 or 4879, or you are in Mossman, Bonnie Doon, Miallo or Newell (4873), and your order is $300 or more, delivery is free and by hand. Our team will bring it directly to your door (you can even ask us to leave it in a safe place). For orders under $300, standard postage applies.
Returns & Refunds
Changed your mind? That’s okay. You have 30 days from delivery to return any piece that is unused and in its original packaging.
- Email us at learnplayexplore@nurturinglifeconnections.com.au so we know it’s coming.
- You cover the return postage.
- Once the piece arrives back to us, we will refund your original payment method, less a 10% merchant and handling fee. (In plain numbers: a $100 piece comes back as a $90 refund).
- Refunds are processed within 10 days of the piece arriving back to us.
Faulty or not as described? Australian Consumer Law protects you, and we honour it gladly. If a piece arrives damaged, develops a fault, or isn’t what we described, contact us immediately. We will repair, replace, or refund it—whichever the law and common sense call for. We cover the return postage for faulty items.
